Homeowner is approved on Green Sky for $15,000. The deal is $17,500. You need to cover the remaining $2,500.

Rates are higher than Green Sky or Synchrony unless the homeowner has very strong credit. This is the trade-off for the speed and simplicity.
For small gap amounts, the higher APR matters less because the principal is small.
